Welcome Message
It is a great pleasure to invite you to the 3rd Annual Conference of the North India Gynaec Forum (NIGF) on 19, 20 July 2025. The conference is being organized by the UP Chapter of NIGF at Jhansi, in collaboration with the Jhansi Ob-Gyn Society and MLB Medical College, at Hotel Natraj Sarovar Portico. We take the privilege of extending a warm invitation for the 3rd NIGF Annual Conference on the theme of High Risk Pregnancy & Youth Health.
NIGF is an association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists from seven Northern States and two Union Territories: Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Rajasthan. In a short journey of three years, NIGF has travelled with purpose and direction. I, Dr. Sadhana Gupta, am privileged to be the founder President of NIGF, taking the vision & mission of NIGF forward under the guidance of our chief patron, Dr. Sharda Jain, and the mentors and teachers from all NIGF states.
The key visions of NIGF include grooming talent and fostering fellowship in Ob-Gyn within North Indian States & UTs, organizing quality academic programs and data-driven initiatives. We also run special projects such as Anemia Free India, Zero Mortality from Preventable PPH, and Sensitization for Medicolegal Issues in Ob-Gyn practice. Our state chapter office bearers have worked diligently to advance NIGF’s goals. This is our 3rd consecutive Annual Conference; the first was held on 19 June 2023 in New Delhi, and the second on 27-28 July 2024 in Gorakhpur. We look forward to your esteemed presence and cooperation to make this conference a grand success like the previous ones.
The theme of the conference—High Risk Pregnancy and Youth Health—has been aptly chosen. Proper risk stratification and coordinated management of high-risk pregnancies are crucial steps for improving national maternal & neonatal health outcomes. Our key experts and experienced faculty from a wide range of teaching institutions and health care systems will provide deep insights into a broad spectrum of topics.
India is a young country, and young India faces new challenges including holistic and reproductive sexual health issues. We have designed an out-of-the-box, innovative scientific program that addresses diverse aspects of youth health, including keynote addresses, cross-talks, and brainstorming sessions. The scientific program will include orations, symposiums, keynote speeches, panel discussions, video sessions, and debates starting from 10 AM on 19 July. Two workshops are scheduled for 19 July: from 10 AM to 1 PM on Critical Care in Obstetrics and from 5 PM to 8 PM on Cesarean Section.
Postgraduates will have the opportunity to showcase their talents by presenting original research papers and participating in a quiz on high-risk pregnancy. A cultural program showcasing the vibrant colors of all North Indian states will be held on the evening of 19th July.
Jhansi, the city of the great warrior Maharani Laxmi Bai, whose indomitable courage continues to inspire, is well-connected by train and highways.
